— Our thrift stores closed for three months resulting in the loss of crucial operating funds
— Major Fundraising Dinners also had to be postponed or canceled
— Food & supply costs increased when restaurants & grocery stores who normally donate these things shut down. That forced Wayside to find alternative means to locate, and pay for these vital, unbudgeted necessities.
— Burden on staff increased as volunteers were restricted from serving

Before coming to Wayside, addiction, and prison consumed Chris. One day he was ready to end it all.
But God still had plans for his life.
Two years later, Chris feels much better. He’s a graduate of Wayside’s Master’s Touch Program, working full-time with a high-end automotive restoration and repair facility, and living in our phase-5 transitional housing and support program. Chris is also hard at work rebuilding critical relationships with his family and surrounded and supported by faith-filled believers from his new church home.
