The Elgin Wayside Center is pleased to announce our annual Friendship Dinner and Fundraising Event with special guest speaker and author, Dr. James Ford.

Dr. Ford serves as the senior pastor of Christ Bible Church of Chicago, located on the South Side. He and his wife have been with the church for over 41 years. He can also be heard weekdays on Moody Radio, Treasured Truth program.

Pastor Ford has a special heart for our community and the people we serve.

There is no doubt that the economy is impacting everyone this year. But imagine if you were a struggling neighbor barely able to afford their apartment, let alone food or gas. Or even worse, homeless. Your support helps economically challenged and under-resourced individuals and families with free meals, showers, laundry, and support. But even more, they will experience the love of Christ by those who serve and volunteer each and every day at the Elgin Wayside Center. Your support will make all the difference.

This annual event helps raise the necessary funds to provide help and hope to the homeless who visit our Center each and every day. It will allow you to see firsthand the lives being touched and inspire your personal faith in this work that only God can do to truly transform a life.
