In downtown Elgin, the Wayside Center has been proclaiming Christ for nearly 30 years. Thousands of men and women have walked through the doors of the center – receiving daytime care including access to food, laundry, Internet, and a warm place to rest. This gateway for transformation has led dozens of individuals struggling with homelessness and poverty to our longer-term programs. The Lord has done a life-changing work in so many individuals’ hearts. Join us as we hear first-hand accounts of how the Lord is using this ministry for His kingdom.

About our speaker: Comedian Gordon Douglas has appeared on The 700 Club, The Pat Hubert Show, The Mark Daniels Show, Light Talk with Sam Beman, a cameo appearance on The Carol Burnett Show, and more! He’s aalso a committed Christian serving on numerous mission trips and Christian organizations and has even performed overseas for our deployed US Military. Please join us for this heartwarming night in support people in need and the very special work of the Wayside Center in Elgin.
