Wayside Cross – Master’s Touch Ministry:
Shelter, Transitional Housing and
Recovery Program for Men
Master’s Touch offers life-transforming men’s shelter and a comprehensive, six-month residential recovery program for troubled lives that are out of control as a result of drugs, alcohol or some other destructive behavior pattern.
Our Bible-based, Christ-centered recovery program and shelter for men is designed to help participants recognize and break the chains of self-destruction. Individuals are further strengthened through comprehensive discipleship with our staff and a one-on-one mentoring program facilitated through local church partners.
Here, successful graduates can choose to stay for up to two years, finishing their GED’s and work-training programs. This also provides enough time to save their income once they gain employment to find permanent residence.
The Master’s Touch program helps each individual confront life-controlling problems and empowers men to experience transformational change through free:
- Shelter and Recovery
- Biblical Counseling
- Spiritual Development
- Self-Confrontation
- Biblically-Based Discipleship
- Work Rehabilitation
- Education and Training
- Transitional Housing
- Individual Mentor Relationships with Members of Local Churches
Food, clothing, and a physical fitness facility are also provided free of charge while seeking employment
Our program also offers Phase 3 and Phase 4 extensions to qualified graduates to seed and strengthen their recovery while building a wider network of individual and community support systems. This is intended to fortify independence and life-long transformation. Phase 5 extends affordable housing opportunities for qualified graduates to continue their journey of independence.
Finding a light in the darkest of times.
