Two Part-time Positions: Master’s Touch Ministry Chaplain (full-time is also available)
General Responsibility Description:
Wayside Cross Ministries seeks two accomplished Men’s Ministry Chaplain/Program Coordinator to assist the ministry director in all aspects associated with the day-to-day running of one of our flagship divisions. Master’s Touch is a Bible-based, Christ-centered ministry, a seven-month transitional living program for broken and hurting men in need.
The Master’s Touch Chaplains are responsible for the development and spiritual needs of men in recovery by providing spiritual counseling, oversee the learning center and from time to time, lead our daily chapel teaching and worship services.
In coordination with the Ministry Director, the Chaplain’s responsibilities are as follows:
• To provide pastoral counseling of men in recovery
• Provide consistent teaching in keeping with WCM Statement of Faith
• Oversee the learning center and classroom teaching facilities
• Help our residents in recovery achieve their GED and other job certifications
• Provide conflict resolution and case management support
• Assist new program residents and encourage them through graduation
• Articulate the Gospel of Christ, including key passages in the Bible
• Provide drug testing and disciplinary action as needed
• Work on site a minimum 20 hours per week for part-time
• Connect with churches and assist with annual Friendship Dinner
Education: This position requires a degree with a Biblical/Theological emphasis at a Bachelor’s Degree level or above.
Qualifications: Experience providing spiritual and addiction counseling preferred. Possess a servant’s heart. The ability to converse, as well as read, and write in Spanish is a plus. Must be connected to a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church.

Compensation: Salary dependent upon skills and experience.
